Timber Clad Poles

Polar Telecommunications has developed a range of timber clad poles designed to resemble telegraph poles. These are supplied with antennas located on open head frames or within timber effect GRP shrouds. Timber lead poles can be supplied as climbable or non-climbable, with the climbing system fixed to the central steel core to the pole. This structure can be located on a standard concrete base on one of our specialist foundation systems.

Polar Telecommunications Limited provide a variety of light to heavy duty timber structures. These are provided with shrouded antennas and open head frames and are available as climbable or non-climbable, as required. Ladder Systems are fixed to the steel core of the poles.

Timber clad poles such as streetworks poles or poles for green file sites are often the preferred solutions for planners in National Parks or areas of environmental sensibility.

Timber clad poles have been deployed throughout the UK as part of the emergency services rollout by Airwave and the Home Office, as well as other clients such as Sure, Airtel and Vodafone. Timber clad poles can be used with our specialist precast concrete or gravity base foundation systems.
