Polar Telecommunications Ltd has developed a system for the implementation of hop sites which can be used in the most inaccessible locations throughout the U.K
The system comprises a climbable timber clad or steel pole on a small specialist foundation system. The foundation is dependant on ground conditions and comprises either a screw pile steel grillage, steel gravity base or a precast base. Traditional cast concrete bases can also be used.
- Bases are provided with steel or timber gate and fencing as required.
- Steel gravity base extensions or precast concrete bases are also available for cabinets.
- The system has now been successfully deployed at dozens of sites throughout Wales, the west country and the north of England.
